This is an organization for all fans of the British SF comedy TV series "Red
Dwarf". Members recieve a guide to Red Dwarf, a membership card, a hologram 
'H' (which can be glued to their foreheads :) and four issues of the club 
magazine "Garbage Pod". New Zealand members also have access to a mail order 
service offering a wide range of Red Dwarf merchandise, including discounted
items and stuff not generally available in NZ (eg Network t-shirts, the Tongue
Tied video). International members are welcome to use it if they really want 
to, but there are usually much better options in their own countries. The club 
also has the (very) occasional meeting, usually in Wellington though other 
regions have held meetings and we are happy to assist any member who wishes 
to run one in their area.

Garbage Pod is a quarterly A5 fanzine. It provides all the latest news
on Red Dwarf, plus a variety of interviews, letters, reviews, artwork, fiction
etc. All members are encouraged to submit material to be considered for 
publication. (non-members too, for that matter :) The production of this zine 
Is the primary purpose of the club.

Membership fees (in New Zealand Dollars, worth about 1/3 British Pound):
New Zealand   -   $15
Australia    -    $20
Everywhere else - $25
Payment should be made via a cheque drawing on a New Zealand based bank, or 
an international money order (IMO). Australian, British, and US cheques can
_usually_ be acepted, but NZ currency is preferred. If you don't pay in NZ$,
please add a foreign currency fee of $2 before converting at the current
exchange rate. Make cheques/IMOs payable to Zed Shift. If you have any
